BORDER PASS

Purpose: Residents living on the border obtain border passes from the Border Management Section. These passes enable them to engage in routine cross-border activities in accordance with bilateral or regional agreements between Somalia and its bordering countries. As a result of this fast process, people can move around easily while border security is kept.

THE ENTRY AND EXIT OF A DECEASED PERSON.

To enter or depart with a dead person, an accompanying person must provide a death certificate to the immigration officer. Border immigration agents might check deceased individuals to confirm compliance.
