Purpose: Foreign individuals seeking a permit of stay must meticulously adhere to specific requirements based on their purpose of staying in the country. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, the following formal conditions must be met:

Foreign Employees:

  • Employer’s Written Application: An official written application submitted by the employer, which includes comprehensive details about the foreign employee, the purpose of stay, security guarantees, and means of livelihood.
  • Valid Passport: A passport with a minimum validity of one year is mandatory.
  • Approved Employment Contract: An employment contract approved by the Ministry of Labor is required as evidence of legitimate employment.
  • Work Permit: A valid work permit issued by the relevant authorities is essential.
  • Two Passport Size Photos: Two recent, high-quality passport-sized photographs should be provided.
  • Academic Skills Certificate: Documentation validating the foreign employee’s academic qualifications or specialized skills is necessary.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): A comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum vitae highlighting the employee’s professional background and experience.
  • National ID (if applicable): The national identification document, if applicable, should be provided.
  • Medical Certificate: A medical certificate attesting to the individual’s physical well-being may be requested.

Foreign Investors:

  • Written Stay Permit Application: A well-drafted written application for a stay permit, including detailed personal information and insurance coverage.
  • Business Permit: A valid business permit obtained from the Ministry of Commerce, demonstrating authorization for engaging in business activities.
  • Valid Passport: A passport with a minimum validity of one year is obligatory.
  • Two Passport Size Photos: Two recent, high-quality passport-sized photographs should be submitted.
  • Business Profile: A comprehensive profile outlining the nature and scope of the investor’s business activities.
  • Academic/Skills Certificate: Documentation attesting to the investor’s academic qualifications or specialized skills may be required.
  • Curriculum Vitae: A detailed and comprehensive curriculum vitae showcasing the investor’s professional background and achievements.
  • National ID (if applicable): The national identification document, if applicable, should be provided.
